At the April 16, 2024 Largo City Commission meeting, Mike gave public comment on a subject that is very important to him.  April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and Mike advocated for the city to recognize it next year and if elected to the commission, he will lead the effort to do so.  Quality of life in Largo is important to Mike and there is nothing more vital than the prevention of child abuse and the stability of families.  Through Largo's first class Parks and Recreation Department that so many families access, there is a great opportunity to help spread the word about Child Abuse Prevention.
